Mild/Moderate Disability (7-12) (224)

To be eligible for institutional recommendation from Mississippi State University for a 224 Mild/Moderate Disability supplemental endorsement from Mississippi State University one must have passed the following coursework with a “C” or higher. This endorsement can only be added to an existing secondary or special subjects license.

• EDX 3203: Evidence-Based Practices for Inclusive Classrooms -OR- EDX 8043 Evidence-Based Practices for Struggling Learners
• EDX 3123: Foundations of Special Education -OR- EDX 8173 Special Education in the Regular Ed Classroom
• EDX 3223: Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports -OR- EDX 8063 Universal and Focused Behavioral Interventions
• EDX 4103: Systematic Instruction -OR- EDX 6103: Systematic Instruction
• EDX 4133: Diagnostic and Prescriptive Methods and Materials for Secondary Age Students with Disabilities -OR- EDX 6133 Diagnostic & Prescriptive Methods for Secondary Disabilities
