Physical Science (182)

Effective 2005

To be eligible for institutional recommendation from Mississippi State University for a supplemental endorsement in physical science, a valid Mississippi educator's license in biology, chemistry or physics is required.

Specialized Education (14 credit hours)

1. Chemistry (8 credit hours)

• Two Chemistry lecture classes (3 credit hours each)
• Two Chemistry labs (1 credit hour each)

1. Physics (6 credit hours)

• Six hours in Physics that includes laboratories (3 credit hours each)

Physical science courses cannot be used to meet the requirements for the physical science supplemental endorsement. All coursework must be completed at Mississippi State University and with a grade of "C" or higher.
