To be eligible for institutional recommendation from Mississippi State University for a supplemental endorsement in Math (7-12), a valid Mississippi educator’s license in any subject area (academic or occupational) is required. If you have questions about when these courses will be offered, please contact the department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Special Education at (662) 325-3747.
You may also add the math endorsement to an existing teaching license by earning a passing score on the math Praxis exam (5161). For more information, including relevant passing scores for each state, please visit the Praxis website.
